Baysox Bump Off Sea Dogs, 6-2

The Bowie Baysox defeated the Portland Sea Dogs, 6-2, in Eastern League action at Prince George's Stadium. Bowie pitcher Brian Groeschen had a standout performance. Groeschen picked up the win for Bowie, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 10-4. The first-place Baysox now have a win-loss record of 77-50.
The Baysox got a big at-bat from left fielder Chris Miller. For the game, Miller was 1 for 4 with a triple. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave Bowie a 1-0 lead.
