The Richmond Flying Squirrels defeated the Trenton Thunder, 14-5, at The Diamond. Leading the charge for Richmond was right fielder Micah Buhrman. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Miguel Arroyo earned the win to go to 5-8. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts in 6 innings of work. The defeat makes Trenton 61-66.

Early in the game, Buhrman had a 2-run home run for Richmond. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Flying Squirrels on top, 2-0.
