New Hampshire Fisher Cats starter Josh Jackson turned in a sterling performance against the Binghamton Mets, leading his team to a slim, 3-2 win. New Hampshire now has a record of 67-61 with the win.

J.J. Ellis aided the New Hampshire cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.

"Josh -- I just love the competitor in him," said Fisher Cats manager Cesar Banuelos.
