Behind a solid performance from third baseman Jose Deramos, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats defeated the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 9-0. Deramos was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for the Fisher Cats. Cornelius Cathey, who is tied for 3rd in the EL with a 2.56 ERA, was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts. New Hampshire is now 69-59.
