Thunder Resilient in 3-2 Win Over New Hampshire
Trenton Thunder starter Kirk Wharton hurled his team past the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 3-2. Trenton pitcher David Harris earned the win, hiking his record to 5-10. Jamie LeBahn suffered the loss. Trenton, at 54-76, sits in last place in the Northern Division.

Trenton got a knockout punch from Ben Townsend. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Wharton said.
