Altoona pitcher Stephen Hibbs did his part in helping his team beat the Reading Fightin Phils, 6-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Hibbs, who is tied for 5th in the EL in complete games with 5, went the distance for Altoona. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. The third-place Curve now sit at 70-59.
