The Richmond Flying Squirrels managed to get by the Binghamton Mets, 3-2, at The Diamond. Richmond pitcher Adam Espinoza set himself apart with his performance. With the win, the Flying Squirrels have a record of 79-53.

Brendan Morris drove in one run for Richmond. The 24-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Steve Pritchard. It was his 27th RBI of the season.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Espinoza.
