Thunder Send New Hampshire Home with 5-2 Loss
At Arm & Hammer Park, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and Trenton Thunder were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Trenton turned a good effort from starter Jose Cruz into a win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Arm & Hammer Park. The Thunder won the game, 5-2. Dan Duran earned the save for Trenton, his 15th of the year.

Trenton took a 4-2 lead on Jimmy Gibboney's 10th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Gibboney hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New Hampshire pitcher Josh Jackson visibly frustrated.

"Jose was bobbing and weaving the whole game," said Trenton manager Juan Nunez.

The Thunder now have a record of 47-85.
