Brager in Fine Form in 5-1 Akron Win
|
Jerry Uht Park was the site for Eastern League action featuring the Erie SeaWolves and Akron RubberDucks.
Akron pitcher Nate Brager did his part in helping his team defeat the Erie SeaWolves, 5-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The 4th-place RubberDucks bumped their record to 61-70.
Brager, the winner, is now 7-11, after putting the clamps on the Erie offense. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 5 hits, while collecting 9 Ks.
"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Brager.
