SeaWolves Earn 3-0 Home Win
|
The Erie SeaWolves picked up a win at Jerry Uht Park, knocking off the Trenton Thunder, 3-0. Starting pitcher Tim Tucker was a big reason why. Erie bumps their record to 57-76 with the win.
Tony Magana had a big 2-run double for the SeaWolves in the bottom of the second inning. With Erie leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a sinker from Adam Redel, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2105 draft, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the SeaWolves ahead, 3-0.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Magana told a Erie Herald reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
