Reading Upended, 5-4, by Harrisburg
|
Brett Baughman was a vital contributor to the 5-4 Harrisburg victory over Reading. The Senators designated hitter was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Ryan Thibeault recorded the save for Harrisburg, his 5th of the season. The Senators improved to 75-59.
With Harrisburg leading 3-2 in the top of the fourth, Baughman hit a slider from Juan Leon for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Senators ahead, 5-2.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Harrisburg manager Tan Timmermans.
