Hernandez Cruises in Win Over Sea Dogs
Justin Hernandez, who is tied for 9th in the EL in complete games with 3, was brilliant in helping Akron beat the Portland Sea Dogs, 9-1. The RubberDucks move to 70-65 with the win, while the Sea Dogs drop to 46-90.

Portland could barely put a dent in Hernandez. The right-hander tossed 108 pitches over 8.1 innings for the RubberDucks, allowing only 3 hits.

"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Jason Hawkins. "But it's got to translate into wins."
