Thunder pinch hitter Robby Saenz put his stamp on his team's 6-5 win over the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Saenz was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Trenton in the contest. Trenton reliever Jeff Tinch picked up the win, upping his record to 5-11. Mike Billingsley absorbed the loss. At 51-85, the Thunder find themselves in 5th place in the Northern Division.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Trenton designated hitter John Bowsman, facing Mike Billingsley, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Thunder the 6-5 win.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Bowsman said.
