Steve McReynolds made an impact in the 4-3 Portland win over Erie. McReynolds was 2-2 with 2 home runs and a walk. The Sea Dogs saw their win-loss record go to 56-81. At the same time, the SeaWolves fell to 59-78.
Portland took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Jason Mosley hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Sea Dogs.
"Not to put too fine a point on it," said McReynolds, "but we really needed that win."
