Fisher Cats Suffer 4-2 Home Loss
|
Behind an impressive start by Matt Young, Hartford beat New Hampshire, 4-2. Reliever Shane Haack picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Evan Terhaar, who is tied for 7th in the EL in holds with 5, took the loss. The win gives Hartford a season record of 87-52.
Hartford won the game in part because of Antonio Oseguera. The third baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Yard Goats ahead, 4-2. For the game, Oseguera had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
"We've hit a rough patch right now," said New Hampshire skipper Casey Bac.
