Fuentes Excels in 10-3 Akron Win
The Akron RubberDucks topped the Trenton Thunder, 10-3, at Arm & Hammer Park. Akron first baseman Oscar Fuentes was a spark plug for the offense. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. David Mueller picked up the win in relief. C.J. Gray took the loss for Trenton. Akron, at 66-74, holds down 4th place in the Southern Division.

Akron won the game in part because of Eric Hoskins. The designated hitter ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the RubberDucks ahead, 5-1. For the game, Hoskins had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
