Bowie Upended, 6-3, by Harrisburg
|
The Harrisburg Senators topped the Bowie Baysox, 6-3, in Eastern League action at FNB Field. The standout performance belonged to Harrisburg pitcher and Folsom, California, native Jason Elkins. Elliott Bogart earned the save for Harrisburg, his 1st. Harrisburg, at 79-61, occupies second place in the Southern Division.
Luke Untied hit a run-scoring triple off Juan Galvan in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Senators in front, 3-2. Untied had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.
"There's a lot in this game you can't control. Just take what the game gives you. I was just doing my best to help the team win," Untied told the Harrisburg Herald.
