Fisher Cats Thrill Fans with 5-4 Win
|
Fisher Cats fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.
Fisher Cats catcher Gerardo Camero left his mark on his team's 5-4 win over the Hartford Yard Goats. Camero was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for New Hampshire in the contest. By defeating Hartford, the 4th-place Fisher Cats improved to 70-70.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Camero hit a changeup from Andy Losinski for a run-scoring single. The Fisher Cats, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This place went bonkers at the end," Camero said.
