Wet weather did not postpone the Trenton-New Hampshire ballgame.

The Thunder grabbed a win, 3-1, at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from New Hampshire pitcher Hervé Lagarde. Lagarde went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Dan Duran claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 1-1.

Trenton used a timely hit from Joe Burks to get the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Thunder ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"Big team win," Burks said later.

The Thunder are now 65-75.
