Knights Rally Late to Clip Columbus
Charlotte Knights pitcher Chad Muha was in top form, leading his team past the Columbus Clippers, 2-1. The win belonged to Bill Romero in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Ivan Espinosa took the loss for Columbus. Charlotte goes to 19-13, Columbus to 15-16.

Charlotte used the timely hitting of Jorge Gonzalez to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Knights on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Chad has got a slow heartbeat," said Charlotte manager Nick Zlomke. "He doesn't panic or anything."
