Phillies Suffer 3-0 Loss to Raptors
|
Ogden Raptors starter Tim Gardiner was in fine form against the Philadelphia (Rk+) Phillies at Ballpark of Seymour, leading his team to a win, 3-0. Gardiner picked up the win for Ogden, going 7.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Nate Jackowski picked up the save, his 2nd.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Sam Crossman? The Ogden right fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Raptors on top, 3-0. For the game, Crossman had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
Crossman told the Ogden Chronicle: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
The win gives Ogden a record of 3-0.
