The Helena Brewers overcame a good performance by Cleveland (Rk+) center fielder Nelson Preciado to knock off Cleveland (Rk+), 3-2, at Parrots Ballpark. Preciado was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk. The winner in relief was Ricky de Gollado. He is now 1-0. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 7 hits in 4 innings. Justin Viale earned the save for Helena, his 2nd of the year.

Mike Humphrey, the 24-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Humphrey contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Helena up, 3-1.
