Hustle Suffer 8-3 Loss to Mariners
The Seattle (Rk+) Mariners topped the Las Vegas (Rk+) Hustle, 8-3, in Pioneer League action at Ballpark of Sammamish. The standout performance belonged to Seattle (Rk+) pitcher and Barahona, Dominican Republic, native Carlos Molina. The Mariners, now 3-0, have hit the ground running this season.

Nate Sklarski had a big 2-run double for the Mariners in the bottom of the first inning. With Seattle (Rk+) leading 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Andy Martin and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Mariners ahead, 4-1.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said Seattle (Rk+) skipper Tommy Gallant.
