Bernal Helps Knights Win, 7-4, with Pair of Homers
Charlotte shortstop Tony Bernal contributed significantly to his team's 7-4 win over the Louisville Bats. Bernal, who is tied for 10th in the IL in extra base hits with 13, went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Knights. Ruben Guevara notched his 4th save of the season. Charlotte goes to 14-18, Louisville to 14-18.

In the bottom of the fourth, Charlotte catcher Eric Braman had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out, Braman stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 4-1, Charlotte. For the game, he was 2-3 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"It was a pretty good night," said Bernal.
