The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Portland fans at Hackers Ballpark.

Portland center fielder Min-u Hyong played a vital role in his team's 6-2 conquest of Washington (Rk+). He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Portland. Willie Ochoa finished to wrap up his 3rd save.

Kevin Silvers drove in one run for Portland. The 20-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Carlos Pineda. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Silvers told the Portland Today.

The loss drops Washington (Rk+) to 3-2.
