Flying Squirrels Land Close Win
|
The Richmond Flying Squirrels handed the Binghamton Mets a loss at NYSEG Stadium. The final score was 4-3. Landon Hibbler was one of the major contributors for Richmond. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 2 runs and drove in 1. Gene Jones recorded the save for Richmond, his 1st of the season. The Flying Squirrels, now 8-2, have had a terrific start to the season.
Brian Main had a direct impact on the outcome. Main contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Richmond up, 3-1.
