Flying Squirrels Beaten, 6-2, by Mets
The performance of John Rice proved critical in helping Binghamton beat Richmond, 6-2. The Mets right fielder went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2. The Flying Squirrels fall to 3-7 and continue their rocky start to the 2111 season.

The Mets benefited from an error in the bottom of the third inning. Binghamton was leading 2-1 when David Hollomon hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Binghamton in front, 3-1.

"Nice to keep stacking the wins," said Rice.
