Osprey Topple Tigers, 9-2, as Rittner Shines
The Missoula Osprey trumped the Portland Tigers, 9-2, at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field. Missoula second baseman Adam Rittner was terrific. He was 2-3 with a home run, a triple, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Ricky Rosales was the winner. Over 7 innings, he yielded 2 runs on 8 hits, with no walks and 2 strikeouts. Missoula is now 4-2.

With Missoula leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Rittner hit a fastball from Dave Frausto for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Osprey ahead, 4-0.

"We didn't put our best foot forward tonight," said losing manager Jeff Mills.
