The Missoula Osprey beat the Billings Mustangs in a game featuring much hitting but not much pitching. The final score was 10-9, Osprey. One of the hitting stars was center fielder Greg Halbert. Halbert was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 6 runs. With the win, Missoula elevates its record to 4-3.

Batting in the bottom of the 11th, 25-year old right fielder Floriano Chiquito had a real shot to win the game. Billings pitcher Jay Capuano was determined not to let it happen. But with no outs, Chiquito hit a run-scoring single. The Osprey had a walk-off triumph.

"What a rush!" said a smiling Halbert.
