Led by Austin Sabatini, the Billings Mustangs defeated the Grand Junction Rockies, 7-6. Sabatini went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Mustangs. Getting the save was Javy Chaverri, his 1st. Billings is now 4-5.

The Mustangs got an important contribution from designated hitter Luis Ortega, who in the bottom of the third punched a full count fastball into right-center for a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Mustangs ahead, 7-0.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Ortega told the Billings Observer.
