Mustangs Get Past Las Vegas (Rk+), 1-0

Dehler Park played host to some high drama.
The Las Vegas (Rk+) Hustle could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Cory O'Neill into a win. Instead, the Billings Mustangs prevailed, 1-0, in 10 innings. O'Neill threw 9.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Billings pitcher Kareem Porter got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Cory O'Neill got the loss.
The Mustangs got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Shane Knapp. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Mustangs.
"We had a chance to win," said Las Vegas (Rk+) manager Josh Weddington, "but we didn't get it done."
The win leaves Billings with a record of 4-5.
