Knights Get One-Run Win at Toledo
Diego Garzon pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Toledo Mud Hens, despite Garzon's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Charlotte Knights at Fifth Third Field. Reliever Chris Hardy picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Diego Garzon took the loss. Jordan Morales was called on to finish, recording his 5th save.

It could have been a different outcome for Charlotte, had it not been for Ryan Foss, the 28-year old left fielder . Foss contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Charlotte up, 2-1.

"We were in it," said Toledo manager Mike Sizemore. "We just didn't score enough runs."

With the win, Charlotte raised its record to 21-12.
