The Toledo Mud Hens beat the Norfolk Tides by a score of 7-6. Toledo third baseman Steve Estes deserved the lion's share of the credit. Estes was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Mud Hens. Toledo is now 22-10.

Toledo needed the clutch hitting of Jeff Hennessey to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Mud Hens on top, 7-6. For the game, Hennessey had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Hennessey told the Toledo Gazette.
