Indians Walk It Off for 4th Win of Season
|
In a tight affair between the Spokane Indians and the Vancouver Canadians, pitcher Bobby Trevino was in the zone. The Spokane right-hander helped his team win the game, 3-1. Chris Carson notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. The defeat makes Vancouver 1-4.
The decisive blow was delivered by Drew O'Laughlin in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Matt Burch to win the game for Spokane. The home crowd went nuts.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," O'Laughlin said.
