Voyagers Lose Late, 5-2
The Texas (Rk+) Rangers defeated the Great Falls Voyagers, 5-2, in Pioneer League action at Centene Stadium. Texas (Rk+) pitcher Leo Silva had a standout performance. Maximino Pometti, credited with the win, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on no hits. Jerry Gonzales recorded the save for Texas (Rk+), his 1st of the season.

Cesar Castillo provided a timely hit. The Texas (Rk+) second baseman delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rangers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

Castillo told a Texas (Rk+) Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

The Rangers go to 4-14 with the win.
