AquaSox Lasso 3-1 Victory
|
J.J. Rasche, who is rated as the 17th best prospect by BNN, was locked in. The right-hander led the Everett AquaSox to a 3-1 win against the Los Angeles N (SS-A) Dodgers at Everett Memorial Stadium. Chris Repetto recorded his 1st save for Everett. With the loss, Los Angeles N (SS-A) is 4-3.
Tied up with the Dodgers in the bottom of the fifth inning, the AquaSox got a boost from second baseman Felipe Miranda. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Miranda saw a first pitch changeup from Mark Matthews and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Everett on top, 1-0.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Everett manager Jim Hulsey.
