Extra-Inning Win by Raptors Over Nationals
|
The Ogden Raptors picked up a win at Swine Ballpark, knocking off the Washington (Rk+) Nationals, 4-2. On the mound for Ogden was right-hander Mike DiPalermo. He played a key role in the triumph. The Raptors boast a remarkable 15-3 record.
Ogden used the timely hitting of Dimitrie Lupan to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Raptors on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Mike is a gamer," said Ogden manager Danny Lemus.
