Canadians Done In By AquaSox, 3-2
|
The Vancouver Canadians were defeated, 3-2, by the Everett AquaSox at Everett Memorial Stadium, even though Mario Pera pitched well for Vancouver. Everett sits at 2-5.
The AquaSox got a big at-bat from right fielder Dan Toth. For the game, Toth went 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Everett a 3-2 lead.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Toth.
