Osprey Bump Off Voyagers, 6-4
|
The Missoula Osprey beat the Great Falls Voyagers, 6-4. Missoula pitcher and New York, native Matt Seay led the way. Seay got the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. Seay allowed no runs. Danny Torres got the save, the 4th for him this season.
The Osprey got an important contribution from right fielder Nate Stombaugh, who in the bottom of the second hit a 2-1 fastball into right for a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Osprey ahead, 2-0.
"Winning is the only objective," said Seay after the game.
Missoula has 3 straight wins, Great Falls 3 straight losses.
