Helena Beats Texas (Rk+) in 12-Inning Thriller
The Helena Brewers faced a tenacious opponent in Texas (Rk+) pitcher Juan Cordero, but still scratched out a win at Kindrick Legion Field by a final score of 5-4 in 12 innings. Cordero went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Travis Wood came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-0.
