Parrots Ballpark was the site for Pioneer League action featuring the Cleveland (Rk+) Guardians and Texas (Rk+) Rangers.

The Texas (Rk+) Rangers beat the Cleveland (Rk+) Guardians, 6-3, at Parrots Ballpark. The Rangers got a fine performance from right fielder Chris Engasser, who was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Texas (Rk+) pitcher Sa'ng Ng got the win, upping his record to 4-0. Jacob Mullen got the loss.

The Rangers got a lift from third baseman Josh Jonson, who in the top of the third stroked a 2-0 fastball into center for a run-scoring single. It was his 13th hit of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 2-0.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Jonson.

Texas (Rk+), at 16-8, sits in second place in the East.
