|
Lindquist Field was the site of a competitive game between the Grand Junction Rockies and Ogden Raptors.
The Ogden Raptors banked on Troy Novell and he turned in a masterful performance. The left-hander kept the Grand Junction hitters in check. The final score was 2-0, Raptors. Ogden, now 20-5, has won 10 straight games.
Novell, who leaned on his sinker, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 6.2 innings for the Raptors. For the most part, Grand Junction hitters were simply overmatched.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Novell.
