At Jerry Uht Park, the Portland Sea Dogs and Erie SeaWolves were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

With second baseman Rob Castillo leading the charge, the Erie SeaWolves defeated the Portland Sea Dogs, 7-4, at Jerry Uht Park. Castillo went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Erie starter Ricardo Castro was credited with the win after throwing 112 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Jason Harris, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Castillo hit a grand slam home run off John Harris. It propelled the SeaWolves into the lead, 5-1.

"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Castillo.

With the loss, Portland is 2-8.
