Vick Throttles Erie, 8-1
|
Harrisburg Senators starter Ian Vick pitched well against the Erie SeaWolves at Jerry Uht Park, leading his team to a win, 8-1. Harrisburg goes to 4-6.
It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Vick, who tallied 7 strikeouts in 8 innings and allowed only 5 hits. Vick raised his record to 2-0 on the year with 16 strikeouts.
"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Frank Hennessy.
