Burlington Gets 6-2 Win Against River Bandits
Riding the 3-hit performance of the former first round draft pick Eddie Saldana, the Burlington Bees defeated the Quad Cities River Bandits, 6-2. Quad Cities now is 0-2.

Burlington used the hitting of Mario Sandoval to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bees on top, 5-2. For the game, Sandoval had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

Burlington manager Brian Zimmerman was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard," he said.
