Due in large part to designated hitter Scott Anderson, the Frisco RoughRiders sunk the Tulsa Drillers, 8-3. Anderson went 4 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles. He scored 3 times. Frisco reliever Luis Moreda got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Alejandro Lozano was tagged with the loss. Tulsa, with the loss, is still a hardy 5-2.

Chris Franklin had a big 3-run home run for the RoughRiders in the bottom of the first inning. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the RoughRiders on top, 4-0.
