The Naturals grabbed a win, 4-2, at Arvest Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Midland pitcher Richard Rosenzweig. Rosenzweig went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Shizuo Saito earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 1-0. Midland now has a record of 2-5.
Frank Gonzales took Midland hurler Tyler Bailey deep in the bottom of the seventh. His 2-run home run put the Naturals on top, 3-2. In all, Gonzales had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
Gonzales told the Northwest Arkansas Daily: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
