Frisco beat Springfield on the strength of starting pitcher Angel Godoy's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. With the win, Frisco is 4-8.

The RoughRiders were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 24-year old center fielder Dan Morales landed a big blow. He turned a 1-0 fastball from Xavier Clayton into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Dr. Pepper Ballpark denizens into a frenzy and sent the RoughRiders home with a thrilling 4-3 win.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Godoy said.
