Richmond pitcher Brent Fyffe had a large part in his team subduing the Trenton Thunder, 4-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Picking up the save was Jamie Estrella, his 4th. Richmond goes to 7-4.

Trent Clow had a direct impact on the outcome. Clow contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Richmond up, 2-1.

"I'm happy we won," said Fyffe. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
