The San Antonio Missions and Frisco RoughRiders played an exciting game.
San Antonio pitcher Max Gomez had a large part in his team beating the Frisco RoughRiders, 4-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Zack Lawler wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save.
John Helgeson hit a 2-run double off Steve Dixon in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Missions in front, 4-2. In addition to the double, Helgeson had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
Helgeson said his team "played with determination."
