Frisco third baseman Travis Huffman helped his team beat the Midland RockHounds, 7-4. Huffman, who is tied for 5th in the TEX in hits with 20, went 1 for 4 for the RoughRiders. The winner was Simon Bellett, who threw 110 pitches over 7.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 8 hits. Picking up the save was Brian Williams, his 1st.

It could have been a different outcome for Frisco, had it not been for Marco Sanchez, the 26-year old center fielder . Sanchez contributed a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put Frisco up, 4-2.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Frisco skipper Andy Fletcher. "It's important to have different ways to do it."

The loss lowers the Midland record to 6-10.
