Soggy conditions did not keep San Antonio and Frisco from playing their scheduled game.

The San Antonio Missions scored a convincing win at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium, defeating the Frisco RoughRiders, 11-3. One of the hitting stars was 25-year old shortstop Chris Alwine who went 2-3 with a double and 3 walks, while scoring 2. Mike Kremer earned the win, while 24-year old left-handed pitcher Terry Penberthy took the loss for Frisco. Caleb Dunivin, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Davy Lewis helped out the San Antonio cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 times.

"This was one of those games you love to be a part of," said Alwine.

The win gives the Missions a record of 8-9.
