Missions Handle Frisco, Snag 7-3 Win
The San Antonio Missions beat the Frisco RoughRiders, 7-3, at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. San Antonio designated hitter Kevin Biron had an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. San Antonio reliever Bill Pufahl was the winner. His record is now 1-2. Alejandro Quintero took the loss. David Davis earned the save for San Antonio, his 1st of the year.

The Missions got a big at-bat from catcher Craig Templeton. For the game, Templeton went 2-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave San Antonio a 2-0 lead.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said San Antonio manager David Medina.

The loss puts Frisco at 11-7.
