The Frisco RoughRiders dealt the San Antonio Missions a 5-4 loss at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. Joe Brathwaite, who is tied for 2nd in the TEX in home runs with 5, was 2-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Frisco reliever Jose Obeso picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Mike Deason absorbed the loss. The loss drops San Antonio to 9-10.

Brathwaite had a timely hit for Frisco in the top of the eighth. With Frisco trailing 4-2, he turned a full count fastball into a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season, making it 5-4, Frisco.
